To locate bank owned properties, the best option is to ask your Realtor to locate them on your behalf. What is your goal that would make you want to pursue REO properties specifically?

There are many sites that you can search for a REO property. These sites are a good way for you to begin the process, but I would strongly recommend you secure the services of a licensed real estate agent, like Jay, to represent you.

If interested, please email me and I can send a list of sites to search for REO properties.  My contact information can be found in my Zillow profile.

Hello,

Your best bet is to speak with a Realtor in that area who specializes in bank owned properties they will be able to help. There are usually many challenges to deal with when buying a distressed property and is highly recommended to find a qualified agent to help.

As a buyer there are many benefits to finding representation, most people do not know when you call on a yard sign, that agent's best interest is for the seller. Searching for a Realtor you are comfortable working with is important and most of the time the commission is paid for by the seller.

Hope this helps and good luck!
