How do you get your zestimates?

As a Realtor, I often notice properties I see are incorrectly estimated on here by many tens of thousands of dollars. For example, my personal property @ 10709 Topview Rd, South Jordan UT 84095 appraised for $215,000 just 2 months ago. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and has since we purchased from the builder. On your website it says 3 beds 2 bathrooms and only $170, something dollars. It also says it only has 1500 sq ft as opposed to the 2300, it truely has finished. As well as lists it as a single family residence, when in fact, it is a town home. It also lists my neighbors homes WAY below actual market value.

How do you determine what you post on here? It doesn't match up with the County tax data either. I have found this to be the case for many years. Sometimes estimated way too high, and sometimes estimated way too low. Thanks!

Utah is a non-disclosure state, so one of the factors in calculating the Zestimate is missing.   The Zestimate Values and Accuracy data are interesting reading.

You can fix it by open your home detail page, hover the cursor on the pencil edit menu, click on the Claim your home if you hadn't claim it on Zillow yet, and to correct the incorrect details -> click on the Edit home's facts, the update may affect on your Zestimate in a few weeks to a few months.
