How do you go about providing information to client to rate you?

Where am I directing clients to rate me based on their quotes and our follow up and eventual closings?

I'm only a few days into this and don't see where I can find a page to hyperlink via email to have clients rate me based on our dealings together.

The only clients that should be rating you are those that have contacted you through Zillow Mortgage Market Place.

Exactly. How do you promt them to rate you after you?

Assuming that you:

1. submitted a loan quote.

2. the client follows up with you

3. you engage in dialogue

4. you either close the loan or aren't able to

In this scenario how do you go about prompting the client on how to leave a comment for you if they are not aware of how to do it? I also am not sure at this point how to direct them to do it either.

Hi sithburns -

Here are ways on how the borrowers can rate you:

1. On your Loan Quote Details, the borrower will see your lender information on the left side of the page and there is a link there for "Rate this lender". Once the borrower clicks on the link, he/she will be directed to the "Rate this lender" page.

2. You may send an e-mail to get borrowers to rate you. To get the sample e-mail, kindly follow the steps below:

a. Log-in to your Zillow account.
b. Click on the "Mortgage" tab and on the right side of the page, you will see "Your rating" section, please click "How do I get on the leaderboard?" link. You will be directed to the "About the Leaderboard" page and you'll be provided with a sample e-mail that you can send to borrowers.

I hope this helps.

Okay so that hyperlink in the sample email will work for them to rate me?

Hi sithburns -

Yes, you just need to provide that hyperlink to borrowers whom you have submitted quotes.  Once the system recognize your connection with the borrower, he/she will be directed to the "Rate this lender" page.  However, if you send the hyperlink to a borrower that you have not provided any quotes, he/she will receive this message:

Rating Cannot be Submitted
Sorry, but we could not find a match between you and this lender. Only borrowers that have made contact with lenders are allowed to rate and review and we could not find a record of your connection.

Okay great! I didn't realize the system was sophisticated enough to make the connection for the client. That is all I needed to know. Thank you for the quick responce. Very helpful!

If the client made a request, and the lender submitted a quote but the client did not contact ythe lender through Zillow, but rather called them directly, will the system still find a link between the lender and the client based on the quote request and the response or does there have to be a direct reply via the contact through Zillow?

@GVD -

Yes! A borrower can rate you regardless of how they contact you. We send a review reminder e-mail to the borrower for every quote they receive.
