A Local Realtor can help you with a showing for the homes you are interested in. I am a Chesterfield Agent and a Native of Chesterfield - If I can help you at all - I would love to!

Everything you have read here is good advice. It's important that you have the RIGHT REALTOR working for YOU. It's one of the first steps in the buying process. Some Agents ONLY list, and refer all buyers to their "buyers agent". Some will work either side, but not necessarily Both sides of a transaction.
One more idea on finding the right realtor for YOU: Attend Open Houses. It's a good easy way to meet a REALTOR, in an open non threatening way. Sign in, give him your contact info (including the best way and time to contact you) . Let him know what you want. If he is swamped with Traffic, set an appointment to talk. The good ones will follow up with you.
Remember, even though the Seller usually pays his commission, he works for YOU.

The previous answers you have received are great ones. Friends, family members, and colleagues can recommend someone to you. Once you find an agent, he/she will arrange your showings for you.
I also recommend that you get representation when working with a FSBO. There are inspections, title issues, etc...that the average buyer will not know about. Most sellers are not aware of their obligations either. You will find that most for sale by owner sellers are willing to work with a buyer's agent.
Good luck!

Ask family and friends to refer an agent they have used in the past and were happy with. The local agent will be able to find out if the homes are for sale currently, expired, or sold. You want your own representation as a buyer, an agent that will work for you.
Good Luck,
Christine

Contact a local Realtor (or the owner if a For Sale by Owner -FSBO). Zillow displays local agents on the right hand side of the page. Contact them to view the listing.

IF the property is for sale, there should be contact information for either the real estate agent or the homeowner (FSBO).
If the property is not for sale, there wouldn't be any need for contact information.
If the property is not for sale, there wouldn't be any need for contact information.
If you're looking in one area you should be able to use a local realtor.
