How does Zillow account for upgrades made on the home inside? Like New kitchen floors or counters? If the Zillow value is $30K based on generic information like 3 beds and 2 bath and Sq Ft living space, how do upgrades made to a kitchen or bathroom factor into the Zillow number? An upgraded kitchen and bath can add a lot of value to a home and Zillow seems to just be using basic Sq ft and beds/bath to compare to like sales in the area. Perhaps like sales in the area didnt have upgrade kitchens or baths when they sold. Upgrades to the kitchen or bath also wont show up on tax assessor information records because they wont affect taxes.July 28 2009 - Melrose00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
