Zillow is a little different than Trulia so they do not award points, but they have contributions which are photos, discussions, questions, advice posts and I believe listings, but I ma not sure about that. You can also become a local expert for your area.

Aaron, there is no blogging on this site except by zillow employees.
For participating often enough in the Q&A section you get the nifty blue ribbon like the one at the end of my name.
You can also get a local expert badge if you reply to enough questions in an area. I received 2 local expert badges for 2 places I have never been or heard of. That may not be so impressive.
No, you really do not get points or anything special. The only thing you can really rack up is "contributions". The problem is that posting a listing, posting pictures on those listings are all contributions. If you ask a question not knowing the answer it is a contribution the same as when you post a reply that answers a question. I have seen agents with hundreds of contributions never having written one question or answer.
If you make the commitment to post here in the Q&A section on a regular basis and give solid replies you will get noticed. Based on how you present yourself some potential buyers could either choose to ask you for help or not. If you do not post for quite awhile you will be forgotten. That is just reality. If you post a lot you can build up a great reputation and probably get a few calls.
The link below shows some good ideas to follow online.

Sorry...Seems I provided some False info
Just got an email from Zillow stressing they only Pay Non-Agents to answer Questions
Try Trulia or ActiveRain, I'm sure they pay Agents to post on those sites...I mean really why else would they do it..

I did not intend to ask of financial rewards. I am here to share some of that money, too.
Are there points allotted for blogging, Q&A, comments, or participating in the "Advice" section?

Answering questions and having conversations on Zillow pays untold amounts in good will, exposure to new clients and professional networking. Unfortunately, there is no reimbursement provided by Zillow for answers, but that would be nice.
People can read what you write and see the advice you give others. If they like what they see, they call you. Many agents have had good luck using Zillow as a conversational social media platform where they can show their personality and professional knowledge to potential clients.

It pays really well....
I made around $3,587,264.32 so far this year and mostly had my neighbors Grandkids posting for me...
Just e-mail Zillows CEO Spencer Rascoff and ask what he'll pay you to answer questions.. I'm Spencer Rascoff, CEO at Zillow.

How does Zillow score discussions and answered questions?
