How does one get their property FHA approved? My condo complex is not FHA approved.Anything I can do

Just to clarify on the link I gave below; you can't do a spot approval.

The HOA probably could care less if they're FHA approved; the lender would usually handle it.

Typically, FHA approval for the community would be pursued either by the builder or the HOA.  For communities that are not FHA approved, many lenders can do a FHA condo spot approval and approve your individual unit for FHA financing.  Either option can get you the same result.

If you already have an FHA loan and are doing a streamline, you don't need to get the condo approved.
