How does one go about removing information about one's home? For example, how much we paid for it.

I see. I am also curious to find out also why some homes are not listed. For example, a home I have had my eye for a while is not located in your system. I believe the home owner's have lived at the residence for a number of years. Can you assist me in where I could find information about a home's value if it isn't listed on your site? Thank you for your time.

Hi Bux262,

We don't remove this information from the site. It comes from public records so isn't just published on Zillow but is available to everyone already.

The benefit to you is that on Zillow you can easily see what others paid for their homes as well, which will make you more informed for real estate decisions you're making.

I understand your desire for privacy, but I don't think that you can remove the price you paid because in most states that information is public record available to anyone who wants it. Zillow has more information about their policy here. Hope it helps.
