To submit an offer on a Zillow listing, just realize that these listings are a combination of For Sale By Owner (FSBO) listings and listings that agents post on the MLS, which then feed onto Zillow automatically. So your best bet is to go to the "Professionals" tab, and pick an agent that will best represent you. One nice feature of Zillow is you can sort out agents based on the Recommendations of past clients...then go ahead and move on a property with that agent, even on the FSBO listings.
Get a recomendation from friends or family. It has to be an agent that is licensed in the state you are purchasing the home in. Some agents have a lic. in multiple states -called a Reciprocal lic.
