How does the "Make Me Move" feature work?

I've looked for an explanation but can't find one so far.... this is a labyrinthine site!

After you claim your house, you simply mark on the home details page that you want to set a "make me move" price, and then type in the number you want, and save the changes.

People will be able to contact you by E-mail through Zillow through a link on your home detail page.  Your E-mail address and name and other information is kept private.  If you want to respond to the E-mail, you may be giving up some of your privacy to that contacting party.

The amount of money that it would take to bribe you out of your house is completely up to you.  If you set it low, you may get offers.  If you set it medium, you may get Realtors® soliciting you to try to let them represent you.  If you set it high, hopefully they will just leave you alone, unless someone with tons of money to waste just absolutely falls in love with the uniqueness of your property.

If you get a real "offer", you would still need to have a formal written offer drawn up, and then a contract, and you would have to go through some kind of Escrow and title transfer.  If you got an offer, you can read up about "for sale by owner", or you could chose to get a lawyer or Real Estate agent to help you out.

If you change your mind about how much they need to bribe you to make you sell your house, you can go back to the home details page and edit it any time.  The changes you make will show up in the "price listing history".
