That is going to vary depending on the lender you are using and the program you apply for.  Are you currently working with a lender?  Do you have a buyers agent to assist in making the offer and refer you to a few lenders to check on lock costs?  Are you a first time home buyer?  If not feel free to contact me at 919-520-7205 and I will give you the name and number of a few in your area that can quote you lock costs.Best of luck in purchasing.  Now is a great time.

I would rethink this. Even a 180  day may not be enough. That would be November. Weather and many other factors could delay complete construction. .... Best wishes, Rudi
