How is it that a company can sell you loan in the middle of a loan modification, and then the new co

How is it that a company (Litton) can sell you loan in the middle of a loan modification, and then the new company ( OWCEN) denies you the modification, because they say that ther owners(Goldman Sachs) does not participate in HAMP or any other government programs and they do not offer any type of modifications to the customer and then demand you to pay back payments in less that 30 days?

Ocwen is generally a great company to work with. In fact, they are one of the few that I've seen to give a principal reduction up to the value of the home.  They also handle traditional mods so even if they can't do a HAMP, which I have seen them participate in, they can still consider a traditional. 

You may need to find a reputable firm that specializes in foreclosure solutions to assist you. I've seen the difference between those who attempt on their own and those who hire an attorney. Just be careful and research whoever you hire.
