How is it that the value of my home keeps declining week after week, yet my neighbor is going up ?

They are the exact same homes and the neighbors is going up by the exact increments that ours is going down in zillow.

I didn't realize it would only take 7 minutes.

Have you claimed your home on zillow and checked that the facts are correct? that's the starting point to see if something wrong. However, don't let people build your hopes with doing that as zestimates are notoriously inaccurate and the time has come for our legislators to do something about this nonsense and introduce so kind of regulation. It's appalling that homeowners are subjected to erroneous valuations, because a commercial company has a flawed algorithm and poor data integrity. Don't let people on here bully you with platitudes, and good luck.

Appreciate that.   Husband is in the military stationed away that we have to pay for as well.  Between that and the current market it is challenging.  We have been doing this for almost 3 years now with no light at the end of the tunnel.   Everything is current, however we bought in 2006 so needless to say are under water and just do not know how much longer to carry on in this declining market.

You shouldn't put any real reliance on those estimates - they number of variables involved and method of calculating them is akin to tossing darts. The market determines value; not zestimates.

I'm guessing there are reasons for concern and this might not placate you but keep all of the "web values" in perspective and recognize them for the typically inaccurate things they are.
