How is the Neuse Crossing Neighborhood in Raleigh? Is it a good place to get a home?

If it is safety that you are concerned about, you can check crime reports/stats.

A desirable location would also mean that schools in the area are desirable so I'd say this neighborhood is better than some but not as good as some.

It is close to shopping and entertainment as long as you have a car.  Not walking distance to much but then this area is considered more suburban.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for your quick reply!  I just want to make sure it's considered a safe area and has desirable attractions (social, entertainment and outdoor activities) and has the potential to be a good resell in 5 or 10 years.  Do you think it's a growing area?

It is accessible to downtown Raleigh, RTP, the airport (RDU) and major highways. Are you looking for a home close to good schools? accessibility to work? near social and entertainment areas? Each home buyer will have a specific criteria for a home and neighborhood that they want. And each neighborhood and community will have their own unique characteristic. If you are currently working with a REALTOR, he/she should be able to provide you with useful neighborhood and community data. If you are not, just let me know so I can provide you with some helpful information.
