You can sell immediately if you wish.  However, selling your home in such a short time will most likely be VERY expensive.

A better bet may be to lease it out if you need to move.

It depends.    Pull out all the docs you signed when you purchased your home.

If you received down payment assistance, there may be some rules associated with residency.

Be aware that selling is expensive, often costing 8 to 10% of the market value of the home.
