You are so welcome, thank you for taking the time to respond. Those tax records are so wrong, we don't generally believe in them. When I list a home, I use a professional appraiser, I would gladly share those results with the tax depart, to help everyone out.
If you are thinking of selling your home use a Realtor who will measure it. Hillsborough is one of my favorite places to go on the weekend.Enjoy! Feel free to email me, click on my name if you still have questions. Thank you

Thank you both.
When I attempted to update the information myself a few days before I posted this question (as I had added info once before without knowing the correct square footage then and so leaving that error uncorrected) the system wouldn't allow me to enter corrections and allowed me only to send them a note explaining the error. I figured they had changed their policy since the earlier edits, perhaps due to people misrepresenting their homes.
I tried again this morning and today it let me edit directly just as before. @Sharon and Shari, thanks for suggesting I try that again.

You can also 'flag' the error on the bottom right of your question. I believe it sometimes takes Zillow up to a week.
Is there something wrong with your home though, because you can go in and claim it and fix it yourself. Check out FAQ
Thank you

The best thing to do is claim your home and edit your facts.

How long does it take Zillow to correct factual description errors reported to them?
