It Depends on whre they are in the process.Some people try to do a short Sale.Which means the seller owes more than they can sell the house for. In this case the bank has to agree to take the lower amount. That usually takes from 3 months to as long as a year.
If the application for foreclosure has been recorded it could either go to an auction or it god be given to a Realtor to sell. That could take 3months to about 6 months be for the property is ready to be sold.
