Hi cpcorey,
Regarding homes attributes (number of bedrooms, baths, square feet, lot size), Zillow users can update home fact information that's not reflected in public records. If someone has added square feet, added a bedroom or bathroom they can edit that information on Zillow. If that information is properly recorded with the city/county we will eventually be sent that information. As the other posters stated in this thread, non disclosure dates provide less information.
I see two favorite homes under your profile, one was claimed as the owner and one was claimed as a favorite. For both of these homes, it looks like all the information was correct minus displaying 1.5 baths vs 2 baths. I see the bathroom count on both was edited from 1.5 to 2 bathrooms.
So, to answer your question, if you are referring to homes facts, if information is different than what the county has, there's no way for us to know that.
Is that what you are referring to?

well, its "really, really bad" in a lot of places like texas that are non-disclosure. given that and given the bias of people towards complaining about free services, i don't think you can put much stock in the "rate" at which the question is asked to infer scope or severity.
you can look at zillow's published numbers however, and by those? Yeah, i'd still say "A Lot" o.0

I'd say based on it being one of the most asked discussed issues in the Forum...A Lot
You can as pointed out do this or that yourself to attempt to correct things but to do so you must register/create a profile...use the Site which = page views/Site views
All of which basically makes the incorrect information not all that much of a negative for Zillow so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Zillow to feel a need to find a Better Data Source or feel motivated to fix/change anything...

There is bound to be some bad information that Zillow gets and posts, but if you are an owner there are things you can do to make your page more accurate.
You can claim your house from your main house page using the yellow "edit" pencil under the main house photo to "claim ownership". You can also use that same menu after you claim to edit photos, square footage, bed/bath etc.
If the other info on the page is incorrect, you can flag it with the "edit" menu of with the small grey flag next to the sales tansaction and Zillow will verify, correct it or remove it. Hope it helps.

How many of your homes does Zillow have the WRONG information about?
