How many payments can be skipped (to renegotiate a mortgage) before home goes into foreclosure? Our landlady claims she has not sent our mortgage in so that she can renegotiate a new loan. A loan officer showed up at our house with a note for her to call them. We believe she has not paid for about 3 monthes but are not sure. In May we went month to month after 3 years of being in one year leases without any written notice. She has also failed to provide us receipts for payment. We need to know how to find out how long we really have here, and whether or not we have to pay rent up to the foreclosure. Also, we need to know how many monthes  she can skip mortgage payments "to renegotiate her mortgage" before home goes into foreclosure?August 01 2010 - North Bend00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
