If you knew the answer why did you ask the question? Personally I subtract $50000 because it's an Eicher. I subtract another $50000 because it's in Sunnyvale and I subtract another $25000 if an REA is involved in the transaction that has written an answer to their own question in a public forum.

My experience is that with their recent increased popularity Eichler's are worth about $50,000 more than a similar more traditional home.

Eichlers are their own thing - there is no 'similar' SFR. Im assuming you mean similar SIZED SFR. Not the correct way to look at an Eicler, its a little like comparing a classic car with a similar sized new car - just no way. 

Eichers should be valued comparing Eichler vs Eichler was respect to HOW original or restored on is and/or how well maintained one is compared to the next. Talk to a local area specialist who deals with Eichlers in your area for more information.
