It is hard to calculate because the sales info comes from the assessor records. If there is an update to Zillow the day after a sale it will be in there, but if the update isn't scheduled for another 30-days it will take awhile. It is possible the larger cities have the public records updated more quicker, but I don't know that for sure.

Sales come from public records, so it depends on the promptness the public records being updated. I've seen them appear in as few as 10 days after closing, and as long as 9 months.
If a home still appears for sale on Zillow after closing, it is the responsibility of the agent to remove the listing.
