How exactly the Streamline Refinance Program works?

Do you have to choose whoever lender you want or a certain one?

Thanks!

Streamline is not a program, its actually a process.  On FHA streamlines, you can close without an appraisal, income, or assets.

Most lenders have added minimum credit scores requirements to their guidelines, so you will most likely need a 600 credit score or better.

You can close without appraisal and income as long as you are not increasing the base loan amount above and beyond the initial loan amount and all borrowers remain the same.

You can go with any lender that is authorized to do FHA loans.

Good luck.

What kind of loan is this for?

VA IRRRL loans are often called VA Streamline refinances.

Refinancing from a FHA to another FHA without cash-out is a streamline refinance.

There's also conforming streamline loans.

We need to know the type of loan you have first. Let us know and we'll help.
