How to buy with zero credit

My mom doesn't have a bad credit score, she has 'zero' credit. When dad died she sold her home and has lived with me the past 8 years, rent & utilities free. Thot I was doing her a favor. Now, she has no proof of paying any kind of bill on time or otherwise. She has a good income that we can prove, but no bills that would prove credit worthiness. She pays her life insurance on time every month, but they don't report. Is there any way that she can be financed to buy a home?

Your mom will have to get some form of credit history, a secured credit card or something similar that reports and she will have to pay on it for a little while.
