How to enter details for multifamily property (duplex)

Should I enter in the Specs for each unit, or the whole building to get the most accurate estimate?  Nowhere is this clear.  

For example, my duplex is 1400 sq ft per side 3 bed 2.5 baths and 1 garage.  So do i enter in this, with 2 units, or do I enter 2800 sq ft, 6 bed, 5 baths, 2 garage with 2 units?

Can't Zillow make this perfectly clear so everyone is on the same page.  This has been ambiguous for years now.

Can't Zillow make this perfectly clear so everyone is on the same page.

I believe different areas report public records differently, hence no clear examples nationally.

In California, the TOTAL GLA (square footage) is used, as well as the total bed/bath count, etc, Check with neighboring duplex units and see what they do OR check with a local Realtor or appraiser. . . .
