How would I go about buying a home that has been listed for a trustee sale?

I've had my eye on a condo that was just listed for a trustee sale.  Is there a way to make an offer on the condo before the sale?

Best bet is to approach the seller directly with cash in hand to purchase. Many of these are people whose parents left the home to them and they cannot pay the mortgage etc.

No.

OK, in theory, you can knock on the owner's door and offer to buy the property from them. However, the chances are that they owe more than the property is worth, and so you'll have to pay more than it's worth in order to purchase it.

All the best,
