I don't know why there are so many houses without Zestimates now, but I can tell you that they are nothing but estimates. I have seen numerous examples that were completely inaccurate, so I would contact a real estate agent and ask for a comparative market analysis if you are looking for an estimate on a particular house. Unfortunately, there are many circumstances such as foreclosures and short sales which will greatly affect a properties value. It's very important to have accurate information when estimating a value so that is possibly why this has been removed.

The Zestiments are not a useful basis for our local listings. I can tell you that I have sold many homes much higher and ALSO lower than theses numbers. Contact a local agent and let them pull comps for you prior to any offer. Its the only true measure of a reasonable valuation. Best of luck!
