I would recommend not relying on Zestimate, but use your local real estate agent's expertise. Some states are "non-disclosure" states, so Zestimate, in this circumstance, is not accurate.

There are many ways to estimate the value of your home The key word here is 'estimate'. Using recent sales of similar homes, and adjusting for condition, size etc, will give you an idea of what buyers have been willing to pay for a home like yours. But remember, that may not mean that the next buyer will think the same thing or need a home just like yours. It always comes down to what each buyer who walks in the door thinks.
A Zestimate will get you into the range of value. Most experience Realtors have a pretty good idea of the local trends for a particular neighborhood or house style, so that might be your first step. They can then fine tune the value further. Many will put together a market analysis even if your not ready to sell now, as a way to at least introduce themselves.
