I'm a UK based investor looking at Michigan City, whats rental market like?

I would suggest looking at Indianapolis about 100 miles south.  It is ranked the #1 most affordable place to own real estate by Forbes Magazine.  The unemployment is below the national average.  It has the highest job growth in the Midwest, and we have investment properties there up to 20% below market value.
