I'm wondering how you can be so wrong on a value of a home and not seem to care that you're wrong?

You have a home valued at 295,000 with NO information about number of bedrooms, rooms, bath, renovations. You have the  wrong square footage (the home is actually double the size you are showing)...and on and on. You receive an "edit" showing the corrected facts and the fact that the square footage you have is actually double that size you showed when you valued the home at 295,000. You show the home being built in 1927.  In 2002 the home received a FULL renovation.  2002. Not 1974.  Fully updated. Yet, the next day you value the home downward by 5%. Looks to me that you have no idea what you are doing. And that can cause real harm in my opinion. I am a real estate broker here. So, i know the market. My wife is also a real estate broker here. So, we both know the market. Obviously better than you  know the market. When this kind of "bull" floats from your site (and i use the word "float" discriptively), it hurts everyone. That "real harm" could come around to bite you someday, if not already.  That is harmful. And you should take efforts to correct it. But, you don't seen to, in my opinion. You don't even answer your phones either. I would guess you're too busy putting out fires to pay attention to these facts. David

So I raise a concern over the use of the word 'hate' by the previous poster and my comment is deleted as being off topic. Yet the same poster in an earlier post also calls the original poster 'moderately illiterate' and that comment is allowed to remain.

I have read the current thread about "bias" and it seems to be a widespread issue on this forum. Any critics are subject to deleted posts, any supporters comments no matter how abusive are allowed to remain. That's easy to understand and we all now know how it operates.

Hi David:  It looks like you joined Zillow in 2008, but are only now encountering the Zestimate?

No, hes upset because HE wants to sell HIS house and NOW he feels that AVMs are causing the end of the world.

People wonder why consumers hate REAs.

Zillow readily admits that its Zestimates are merely estimates based upon public records. And, Zillow allows corrections as appropriate.

Hi David:  It looks like you joined Zillow in 2008, but are only now encountering the Zestimate?

AVMs are going to be around to stay, so learning as much as you can about them so you can use them and comment on them in your profession may be of benefit.    As a potential client, I would listen to an agent who understood what AVMs are, and had carefully considered points about and against AVMs.  I wouldn't listen to an agent who didn't take to the time to understand and just ranted.

Here's a link to Zestimate for agents.

zillow is supposed to know this?

Yet, the next day you value the home downward by 5%.

changes you make to a property take 6-8 weeks to be recalculated, anything that happened the next day doesnt reflect changes you made to vital stats.

Looks to me that you have no idea what you are doing
