I've wasted hours trying to "Make Me Move".

Poto's won't load.  Error Messages.  Did all the descriptions.  Took forever, then pages just disappear.
I don't get it.

If you have packages of stuff that you've not opened in a year, put in the car and drive it to Salvation Army or Goodwill.   When were you last up in the attic?  Nothing there is important.

Yeah, it is true you've not opened your wedding dress package in a year or more.  Why do you really need it?  (Hint: you don't).

If you can't be quite so ruthless, or don't have a car, join www.freecycle.org for your town today.   We got rid of tons of "stuff" that way.  Some people will even come and pick up bags of "miscellaneous" such as "I can't bear to open the bag and it has been in the attic for 10 years.   Perhaps good, perhaps trash"

Halloween is a favorite.

Dear Wet:
Love the dog's costume.  Looks like me.  Was born on Halloween!
BTW.....No sock drawer.....Socks, yes.

Gave all the BR furniture away couple weeks ago to cousin.

Now I have stuff up the kazoo, but don't know where.  All in plastic bags!

Tons and tons of stuff.  9 rooms of stuff 2 garages of stuff.  2 ceilings over the garage of stuff, cubby holes and roof pitches full of stuff.  3 basement rooms of stuff.  I'm so stuffy, it's tuffy....Also getting crazier than a loon.

Oh, the socks....?   They're somewhere...........Happy 4th.

Break it down into pieces that are not overwhelming.

Today you can sort out your sock drawer....

Thank you wetdawgs.  I'm a person who sweats the "small stuff", so I'm just no good at this.  EVERYTHING IS SO OVERWHELMING.

I just downloaded the picasa program, and trying to figure it all out now, as each new thing you try on computer takes more and more time to learn.
Now I hope I don't have too many problems with this or will have to uninstall, and hope can get back to other programs.  More work.
LOL
Thank you for understanding.

Downsizing can be emotionally painful.   We've done it, and it is clear from the unpacked boxes that we could have been much more rigorous as we did it last time.

What do you really love and use every day?   It is surprising how little falls into both categories.

Thank you again.  Mrs. Rockinblu liked working around!  My Mom did too.  Not me, and can't do it now anyway.  Sounds like she's enjoying things though.  She's a "Day's" and I just got through watching AMC...lol...Used to watch "Day's" bout billion years ago, when "Bill "Davey Crocket" Hayes", and Susan Seaforth Hayes were on.  So, as I stated, that was a billion years ago.

I'm appreciative about sending me info. about what to do for fsbo, and I do have on Craigs. I have one couple wanting to see shore condo., but can't even get there to show it.

I'm not good at agents/agency's.  If any agents are interested in maybe 2%, I would accept, at shore condo.  No. Jersey I would go to 3%, and I do know someone here in N. Jersey I sort of trust.  I just don't have the time or energy to do what you did, and do it alone.  Yes, my mother's and aunt's estates are all still here, and don't know what to do.  The family children, mostly my cousin's children don't want the old antique-ee stuff, and I'm beside myself with what to do.

Just had replacement windows put in on home equity loan that I won't be able to pay back, and roof replaced.  But didn't know that my air conditioner wouldn't go back in the window.  And things go from bad to worse.

My close friend wants to take me to A.C, for July 4th weekend, which at one time, I would have been tickled about, but now too overwhelmed to care.  May or may not go.

Again, it was so good of you to offer as much help as possible, and I also appreciate the links.  I will try it now.
So much time to use computer and I'm on Dial up, so just imagine that!
Say hello to Mrs. Rockinblu...And tell her to have fun at the pool for me!

beachyme,

Thanks so much for your kind words. As for as moving and getting rid of 34 years of accumulation, you just have  to let go. We had antiques, collectibles, beautiful landscaped yard, the whole 9 yards. We donated, gave away to family & friends, and sold & sold (including the house) on craigslist. Zillow was a help as well as our buyer saw the majority of our photos there. Mrs. Rockinblu had some issues, but now as she gets her work out in, in the complex's fitnesss center, does her run down at Town Lake, comes back and takes a dip, then relaxes in the afternoon to watch "Days," she has somehow managed to forget about all the yard work and home improvement stuff WE did that SHE enjoyed. :)

BTW, Picasa 3 is free software from google. Try this link.

I'm going to also posting two links below. The first one is on doing a FSBO. The second one is on choosing an agent. Good luck, and happy Fourth.

thank you so much rockinblu, but I don't know if i have any more patience left.  I don't even know how to email you back, so hope you see this.
If I have enough time I will try again.
I need to downsize and sell home in No. Jersey and condo. at Jersey Shore before they go into forclosure.
Getting too old for all of this.
How did you ever move from your home?  Must have been very difficult.  I want to stay in my state and area, but it's changing, and I don't like that, and I'm getting older and can't take care of my home anylonger.
Thank you again, and if I have a chance I'll try.
I'm not sure I know how to get the picasa, but will check.
Enjoy your family.  That's the most important part of life.

beachyme,

On the photo issue, below are instructions on how I got them to upload.

I used Picasa 3.1. Select the photo. 2. From the file drop down menu choose "Export picture to folder." 3. Click on OK in the window that appears. 4. Go to the page where you want to upload to, and select that  folder/photo from the browse option. 5. Click on the disclaimer stating that it is your photo and upload. Mine uploaded in a blink. Good luck.

Now on the description issue you may be having a timing out situation. Prepare the description in your word processor, then copy and paste it in the appropriate section on your Zillow page. If you aren't able to complete everything in 20 minutes or so, save what you have done and  edit in the balance. Good luck. I feel for you man. I had that happen doing a Vflyer once. Not good.
