I'm thinking of selling my home this year. What do you think the market will be like?

The home is a doublewide on a corner lot but not on a permament foundation.

You should wait if you can afford to do so. Too much supply and not enough demand right now. What's worse is that with all the foreclosures and short sales, that affects your bottom line that much more because that's what you have to compete with.

It's a great time to buy but a lousy time to sell.

Home Seller:

Based on what I am reading, selling in Florida will be difficult.  That market has been ravaged by foreclosures and if you can hold then I would recommend that course.  I would even consider renting rather than selling.  In your market the only people who should be selling are those that have to sell, not those who want to sell.  Best

The market will continue to be tough for sellers, especially at the low end.  You will have to price it like a foreclosure to sell it.  Sorry, wait if you can.

Hard to answer without your location but some areas are seeing a more stable market than we have seen in the past couple of years. You should call a local broker they should be able to help you out.
