If it's a short sale, you could wait months. If it's a foreclosed home (REO) sale, the listing agent should have notified your agent that they recieved and the bank is reviewing it. those only take a few days in Ca. If it's a regular sale then your agent should have received a yes/no/counter offer. Your agent should have a reason by now why there is no answer.
