If it was my children and there was 'organic growth' I would get out. How did the flood happen, through your neglect or the landlords? Talk to an attorney. There are so many different types of mold, are you an expert or have you had an expert in to do mold remediation? Again, talk to an attorney, get a mold specialist in and if you find it to be unhealthy for them, get your children out of that house .
