Just doing a search can help you find a Realtor, but make sure you ask the Realtor what they know about the short sale process. You want to find an agent that is familiar with the process in case the house you select is being sold by someone without much short sale experience.
The reality is that most of the short sale leg work comes from the listing agent, but if they have not done there homework, you could end up signing off on a contract and waiting months before you hear back. Understanding the process is key and make sure any agent you work with can keep the listing agent moving.

Hello Jenniferlne. I would just do a search on Google and type in the word "Buy a home in Washington DC" and pick a realtor from that list. Much luck to you in choosing your next realtor Jenniferlne.

I am looking for a short sale realtor in Washington, D.C. Does anyone have any recommendations?
