California is big and have extremely differing markets, what market are you looking to move into?  Closest big city?

I venture to say that rents may be similar and possibly less expensive than our California neighbor.  It would depend on your monthly budget & preferred Henderson neighborhood.  Essentially, creditworthiness, references and the security deposit is key when renting.  Other parameters may limit the scope, like pets or specific home amenities.  There are many neighborhoods in Henderson that a fixed budget would be applicable.  Welcome to Henderson.

Of course!  Henderson has many fixed-income residents who rent.  You should be able to find something in Zillow.  When are you planning to move here?

As long as your landlord accepts your application.  Most property managers look at your rent in relation to income, verify any past evictions, credit history and criminal history.  A good rule of thumb is to rent a property at about 25% or less of your gross income.
