Dear Rabbit:

When you mention applying, do you mean applying for a tenant application?

I can send you homes for rent or for sale if that is what you are looking for. Just give me a call.

Hey Vince, thank you for your reply. I have been to Phoenix a couple of times. I'm moving there from Portland, Oregon with my boyfriend who is originally from Phoenix. we are wanting central/ historic areas. Thank you for your advice!

Hello,

The rental market in Phoenix is still very strong.  Depending on demand for the neighborhood you can see homes rent in a matter of a few weeks.

You did not mention if you have been to Phoenix previously or if you have a section of the Valley that you are most interested in renting a home.  You could do some preliminary work virtually.  Firm up your list of "must haves"- number of bedrooms/bathrooms, pool, garage, proximity to schools/office.  If you are moving from another state, it would be worthwhile to learn about customary practices such as the pet/security deposits, earnest monies and such.

Welcome to Arizona!

Are you looking to rent a home?  If so, you will want to submit an application about 3 weeks before your move in date.

Are you looking to rent or purchase? If renting, it is usually best to start your search (application) about 30 days out. If you are looking to purchase, start now and get familiar with the market. It is best to get pre-qualified for your loan asap so you dont have any unanswered questions or surprises.
