Be careful about going into foreclosure because it will really hurt your credit. Think about all your options. Renting out a room, renting out the house, selling items, etc. Pricing a home extremely low isn't always the best option because people may thing something is wrong with the house. Talk with a lot of agents and find one that is known for selling homes fast. Anyone can sell a home fast if it is priced low, but make sure the agent will do a lot of marketing on your home.

Start calling this morning agents from the "professionals" list from your area. (Click on "professionals" in the top line of this page.) Talk about communications, goals etc. Ask for a CMA and marketing plan. Evaluate both very carefully. The time upfront in interviewing will save a lot of anguish in the future. It is easy for an agent to make promises, but look for success in the past from references not just words.
