I am thinking about renting my house in Brisbane, CA.

My daughter lives with me and I want her out of my house.  She has lived in this house for approximately 2 years.  If I rent my house can I make her leave or does she have any rights because she is a resident?  What are my options?

If she is not paying rent now . She may need to. You move out and move someone in. You'll still keep all control. If she cant pay rent, still move. Make her become responsible, and show her what Real Estate about. If you need help come back to Zilliow. She a Landlord for students go to the local colleges or prep schools someone always need a place to sleep (room)

Your options are to rent or sell the property.  If you are on the title then you call the shots.  And yes should you decide to rent it and you move she must also move.

If she is an adult and you don't want her to live there, she's not paying rent and she doesn't have a lease, you can ask her to leave.  If she doesn't leave, you can move her stuff into the street and change the locks.
