I am with Mortgage America Bankers which is based in Maryland. However, my office is in the metro-Atlanta area. We are able to provide USDA loans. I have a link on my webpage [customer service deleted link] under Resources with USDA information to include property and income eligibility.

An important note regarding USDA. Unlike other government or even conventional loans, USDA loans must undergo an additioanl step once the underwriting portion of the loan has been completed. The loan must then go to the local USDA field office for approval. Many of these local field offices are backed up in excess of 30+ days. This means your entire loan process could take up to 60 days! This is very important to know when you negotiate your contract to allow enough time for loan processing.
