I so agree!!!!
it should be mandatory,,but then you have the very very skewed level of property taxes when compared to other states. No corporate taxes and CAN DO business is great...but then the politicians come after these higher end homes asking for blood with property taxes...
It's a mixed bag of fruit ..Like everything else!
We all just need to have our network strong and work together to get it done..
If the realtor communities would work closely together...help these Fisbos...AND not hold listings to make the sale on both sides it would benefit all of us...
On and Up...!

Texas is a non disclosure state and sales prices are not public records. Zillow get their data from the public records such as the DCAD. This is one of the reasons their zestimates are useless to us.
I'm sure that you don't care to to post how much you paid for your home in 2006? Wouldn't that put you at a disadvantage as a seller?
I am told that they are pretty close to market value for many other states such as WA and CA and more.

good luck david
Zillow is strictly a giant set of raw data calcualtions...that is why every savvy investor TAKES THEIR NO.S WITH GRAIN OF SALT. Zillow is unaware if a home sold for lot value only next door..it is unaware if an entirely NEW home has been gutted and replaced the old!!! It is very very off..unless the homes have been stagnant..unchanged for 5 years, plus..
sorry
welcome to one of the industires biggest problems w buyers who only know "too much" and base their numbers on Zillow!!
ugh
best
Do your comps and argur w honest comps to buyers..the smart ones will get it! the others will ens up on a lot that is low prices and in worse location and deal w their inappropriate choice when they too..go to resale!

I am writing regarding Zillow valuations for Highland Park, TX 75205.
I am writing regarding Zillow valuations for Highland Park, TX 75205.
In 2006, Zillow valued 4332 Livingston Avenue artificially high at >$1.30MM. Now, in 2011, Zillow values 4332 Livingston Avenue well below/artificially low at <$1.00MM.
Will Zillow please use the data provided at www.4332Livingston.com or otherwise do proper diligence to more accurately value 4332 Livingston Avenue (and other homes in the ultra-affluent Highland Park township/Park Cities)?
For reference, 4205 Stanhope Street, Dallas, TX 75205 (2,117) just went under Contract for >$400/SF.
Thank you, in advance, for your immediate attention and commitment to accurate data/valuation algorithms of integrity.
