I asked my mortgage company to help me to stay in my home I am having trouble making paymentsi, I am current as of today.  I think the only answer for me is to let the house go into foreclosure, and pay cash for the house two doors down at market value for this neighborhood. what is your thought on this?

Keep talking to your bank.  If you have cash then you are able to pay, right?  There are houses in my neighborhood too that are worth less than what I owe.  It stinks, but I keep paying.
