I cannot figure out how to switch it from a sale to a rental without canceling the listing??

I cannot figure out how to switch it from a sale to a rental without canceling the listing??  I will lose my money and then have to pay for a new listing?

Zillow charges $39.95 for 180 days of 'for sale' listings and $9.95 for 180 days of 'for rent' listings. I don't believe there is any way of prorating the amount you have left from the for sale listing and apply it towards a for rent listing.
