besides requesting a zero origination fee and zero discount fee pricing option, look out for the "brokers fee", as that fee could serve in lieu of the origination fee.  If there is one make sure it's also stated at "zero", particularly if the company is charging you a processing fee.

You can request a loan with no origination fee as Clay mentioned but be prepared to pay a higher interest rate. No one works for free and if you don't pay one way you will pay another. You long term goals will determine the best loan scenario.

There are good mortgage companies our there would give you this great deal if you have good credit, proof of income, and current all of your bills.

It is good you have thought about this. I didn't know a thing about fees when i close my mortgage the first 2 closing. I lost $6k to $10k for REFI due to fees alone.
