Good tradeline will help improve credit scores. simply owning a home does not - unless you have a loan that is reporting the the credit bureaus.

You can't homestead a property unless you own it. Homesteading has to do with the property taxes the owner pays on the property.
I don't own a home yet because of credit problems. Will homesteading property help me with a morgage
