Is your home for sale? Do you want it listed on Zillow? Typically the photos seem to update when the home is listed for sale again. If your home isn't for sale why do want to update the pictures? Also, if you claim your home you risk getting tons of emails, phone calls, mail, etc from Realtors just searching the sites for updates - looking for sellers. How many of us do you want to hear from :). If you do want to list, interview a few Realtors at their office. Get to know them and then pick one or two you connect with and invite them to the home for the listing presentation. You'll feel less pressured to sign if you are at their office and not your home.

The aerial photos come from a third party data provider, and while expected frequency of update is up to six years, I am aware my home's photo is well more than 6 years. The solution is simple, claim your home on Zillow and upload photos that are more recent.

I find that the photgraph of my property is at least 7 years old. Why has Zillow not updated it? How
