I had an appraisal done last week and it came in 15,000 higher than the Zestimate.

This is the second appraisal done in four years that show that the Zestimate was ridicously low.

Add home information to reflect improvements? I don't get the point.  If the ZESTIMATE is too low, the actual appraisal should replace it. This site has no value if it will not accept actual appraisals in the estimate.

Zestimate is as estimate based on information zillow has access to and other individuals have loaded onto the website. It also takes into account homes which are listed, pending sale, and sold in a specified area over an extended amount of time. This will give individuals a rough idea of a home value, but not an exact value.

Getting a qualified realtor in your community or an appraiser will give you a more exact home value. This is information you can provide individuals who are looking to purchase your property.

If you want to change the information on your zestimate, you can always edit your home's information to reflect improvements.
