it could also be because there are several agents that were signed up for zillow by their office and are not aware that they even get emails.  In those cases it is even more likely they at the email goes to spam or gets ignored.   When selecting one, if they have quite a few contributions or if they actually have text in their "about me" on their profile then chances are they check it.  If they are a Premier agent then they pay to be here and I would expect that they will respond - it doesn't mean anything more than that.   best of luck.

Select any house on Zillow in White Hills, AZ and selected one or all three of the agents that shows up to  the side of the home.  They will cover that area.

Looks like you will have some good choices.

It's because you are inquiring with listing agents.  You need your own representation (Buyer's agent) to get the answers you need when you need them.  A Buyer's agent will look after your needs and only works for you...the best part is the seller pays them so it's FREE representation for you.  Makes this house buying thing much easier!

I've had the same issue on Zillow, and wonder if some agents are letting Zillow Emails end up in their spam box.   In addition, there are some other possibilities - not all agents are good at keeping their listings on non-MLS sites up to date, so may not respond when a property is not available.  In addition, one agent brashly posted that he doesn't respond to E-mails with inquiries generated by Zillow, but will respond to a phone call.

A more effective approach may be to find a good buyer's agent. Don't stick with the first person who calls you, but consider it like a real interview.   Pull up names in the professional directory above (click on "professionals") and interview rigorously.   I'd recommend interviewing at least three and possibly more to find one that fits your needs.  That agent can screen the properties of interest to see if they are still available on the MLS, and contact for showings.  The agent can also represent you when you put in an offer so the selling agent is not in a dual agent role (representing both seller and buyer).

When you do get a response, stick with that agent! One agent can assist you with any home listed for sale in your area. If you have previously worked with a Realtor, call them or email them! Tell him/her what you are looking for and let the person who wants your business assist you!
