Leann: As 13 months have passed since the original post, I hope the person has solved their problem.

It sounds like you are in a situation that a lot of Washington residences are struggling with. Take the time to set up an appointment with a Realtor and get advice on what avenue will be in your best interest. If you decide to go with a "short sale" of your condo make sure your are working with a Realtor with short sale experience.

you need to really look deep down and make sure you need to move before you decide to sell this condo bec most times it is worth less than what you bought it for. your local agent should give you comps to support the possible selling price, get that price and then make your decisions.
Thanks.

Where is your condo located? If you purchased in 2005 or 2006 then chances are it will likely sell now for less than you paid. Keep in mind, if you intend to make another purchase, the price on whatever you are purchasing has also come down.

Do you have a question or are you lamenting?

I have a condo that was puchased 2 years ago ....I need to sell it ...it appears to be worth less.
