Karen, there is a simple solution for you that should quickly fix things. Contact your past clients and ask them to leave you a review on Zillow.com. If just a small handful leave 5-star reviews you will quickly dilute the 1-star review and your average will shoot up.
I do feel for you. No matter what we do as professionals there will always be people that aren't pleased with our service. No matter what you try these people will not be advocates for you. And now that they can speak their mind openly on Zillow.com a certain percentage of them will do so.
In this case I would fight to have that review deleted. In my opinion you would have to have tripped one of their children down the stairs to deserve such a brutal review. I wish you luck. Go get some great reviews!

I just had to post this. This is just an example of how stupid this group of realtors at Keller-Williams is. Karen's boss just requested me to be added to her professional network on LinkIn! This is one of the people that lied to me about getting Karen's comission waived and then didn't return any of my emails or calls for a month (there were numerous attempts to contact her).
I am probably just going to decline her invitation and send her a short note why I don't want to be in her professional circle. If I was a mean person, I would accept her invitation and then send out the case summary to every one of her contacts. It would serve her right after the 5 months of hell that my wife and I had to go through.
Just thought that you guys would appreciate the stupidity of the situation.

Just to give an update on my story. . we sold our house yesterday! We also sold it for about $10,000 more than any deal Karen Prinster brought to us. We did fsbo, so instead of having to bring about $15-20k to the table to pay someone to take our home, we walked away with about $9000 in our pocket. All of the things that Karen bragged about doing for us we did for about $250 and about an hour of total work on fsbo.com. It was ridiculous how easy it was to do all of the things that she constantly bragged about. What a joke.

I only asked her to commit to what she promised in her marketing presentation which she provided on paper and follow through with what she told us. She did neither. She offered no explanation other than that she was busy with other clients. We wasted 6 months of our time and living insanely to have our home "show ready" as Karen requested. Our listing wasn't listed on the date she gave us, open house not listed until hours before open house was to begin which was 3 hours after its scheduled time, feedback was not given on the few showings we did have which I had to be available to show my own home because she "too busy" to. This is not brutal, this is exactly what we experienced. I am not being rude or angry, just stating the facts it took 2 months to get out of our contract as Karen refused to terminate the MLS so we could relist with another agent who reviewed all out paperwork with Mrs. Prinster and assisted us in finding out who to contact to resolve the issue. Very stressful. We are over it. But i do not feel another couple in our situation should suffer the same predicament.

Chris - Thank you! That was my thought exactly. It reeks of the way that Prinster writes her emails. When you read her emails you're like "Is she serious? Who writes like this?"
Lola - I am sorry for your situation, but this is not the same.
If anyone wants more details on all of the crap that we had to go through with this agent, please email me directly.
I had to get a lawyer near the end because she wouldn't let us out of the contract, she was working with the other agent on a deal we had and she tried to get us to pay for things that weren't out responsibility. Oh yea, there were the lies that she and her superiors told also. My documented proof of the lies is what finally got them to release the contract.
All she cares about is the deal. Plain and simple. That's it.
Again, if anyone wants more info, I would be happy to expand. Just send me a personal email at ws5926@yahoo.com. Some of her other 'unhappy' clients have contacted me since I we got away from Karen and the story is all too familiar.

I just peed my pants laughing at the review written by "AshleyBlair." Yeah, something is fishy about that one. And a few others.

Lola I loved your reply to that review. It's a 10 out of 10. It was honest straightforward and gives the reader a chance to get a feel for you as an agent.
If I were a potential client reading that, I would that that you had client that was perhaps a little demanding, that you did what you could to help even on vacation and that there was a specific reason that things didn't work out. I wish more agents would take time to reply to their reviews. Sometimes replies say more than the review itself. Yours definitely did. Thumbs to you.

No Lola it is not the Same thing at all...this is a couple of Negative Reviews and some of the "Positive Reviews" are questionable IMO
Perhaps reading everything, being fair is preferable and more Professional than automatically figuring the Consumer is the BSer & the Agent is the Victim
Your situation sounds horrible and unfair but it is nothing like this one

I had someone from Zillow do the same thing to me a few months ago. He wrote that we had a horrible experience when in fact we had no experience at all. He was upset I didn't call him back when I was on vacation in a hurricane. I asked all of my clients to send in referrals and they did. I called Zillow and told them that the guy had written an incorrect review and they said they would work on it, but never called me back (of course). Good luck.

I think it's fairly obvious the Vetting System (If there actually is one) cannot in anyway be taken seriously..It's a Shame
This isn't about assisting Consumers or helping sort out good Agents or Bad IMO..
It's about giving some Toy to Agents to play with and Getting Leads..
It's about making people create new accounts to do a review
(Hey look we are growing, see all the new accounts)
Consumer Oriented..about as much as the Banks IMO

Everything stated was in fact true. I would happy to talk to anyone who would like more information on my experience. I have better things to do then submit false reviews. I hope i can save you from our nightmare with Karen Prinster and Kellar Williams. She promised advertising and promotional materials to our area hospitals, newspapers, and local air force bases. None of this was ever done. She was a no show for every appointment we had with her....calling only after several hours after our scheduled meeting time. She scheduled one open house which was never advertised, then didnt show up until 3 hours after the "open house" was to start. She lied to our face to many times to count. She promised feedback within 24 hours. We had to hunt her down for weeks to try to find out feedback from people that looked at our house. She never once came to show our home or provided any of the list of promises she makes in her initial presentation. After we had enough it took 3 months of haggling with Kellar Williams, to let us out of our contract as Karen tried to say we didnt make our home available to show. Bold face Liar. Do not trust her. Buyer and Seller Beware

Everything in the review is 100% accurate. I wish I had the space to paste all of my documentation. It's quite a read. You wouldn't believe the incompetitence and "shadiness" we went through. It was like dealing with a low-end used car salesman. I felt like I was in a soap opera at times.

If a house sold in 3 days it's because of 2 things - luck or grossly underpriced. Either one has nothing to do with the agent. My parents sold a house in 45 minutes of putting the sign in their yard because of LUCK. The right person just happen to drive by the moment that they put the sign in their yard.

re: sunnyview - All I want to for other people to avoid the hell that we went through for the 5 months that we had her as an agent. If anyone wants more details, please email me directly. I have it all summarized in a word document. It's one of the documents that I used to get out of the contract because Prinster wouldn't let us out. Just trying to help someone avoid the situation we went through.

Thank you ws5926 for taking the time to write a review. I really appreciate reviews that I read that are honest as a potential client or consumer.
It takes time to write one, but everyone who reads yours can benefit from your willingness to take that time to explain your experience. I wish more people were willing to do that.

re:BigRedBoots - yes, I did. When I saw all of the "positive" reviews I tried to update my review to reference them. Zillow said that wasn't allowed. I have resubmitted my review and it should be back up shortly.

"Karen, there is a simple solution for you that should quickly fix things. Contact your past clients and ask them to leave you a review on Zillow.com."
Easier said than done. Zillow requires people set up an account in order to write a review. Many people are very hesitant to do so, including some of my clients who were eager to write one until seeing the registration page.
That said, IMO it's not worth the diminished integrity to forge a review for oneselfor to shamelessly beg past clients to write a sparkling review in the hopes of drumming up a little business. There are more dignified ways to do so.

"Karen's notoriety for getting contracts placed on her listings in less than 3 days isn't for nothing!" And then, we check listings on Zillow with days on Zillow ranging from 59 to 348 days.

Got to agree. They don't look legit to me. It would be interesting to take a look at the IP addresses for all but one of those 5 star reviews. The multiple thumbs on the reviews smell funny too. Most positive reviews have no thumbs at all and are not written like a REA flyer.
Very fishy. I would hope that clients would look deeper and ask detailed questions of the agent about her one star review and it's background. It is interesting to me that the agent chose not to respond to the negative review. I think I would make a different professional choice, but every post on this site seems to be all about what the agent wants. That may have created the situation that prompted with the client to leave a one star review initally.

As a member of the Zillow We vet Reviews Moderator Team my eyebrows would not raise a bit upon reading this
"As a buyer, you shall await a chauffeured home-previewing service allowing for the infusion of additional viewings at the snap of a finger, as Karen brings along her ipad providing instant access to all real estate listings. Upon viewing each home Karen will stay out of your way, simply walking behind you taking notes of the things you liked, disliked or have questions on. Best part of all - this chauffeured service ride contains a large basket full of misc. drinks & snacks!
As a seller, you will feel assured knowing Karen is providing continuous 360° exposure to the home you are selling. Dedicating nearly 10% of the anticipated commission to her marketing budget, the 2 of you will strategically craft an individualized marketing plan on the best methods of attracting in potential, qualified buyers. Essentially, through this marketing practice Karen is pre-investing in you while you make no financial committment until the final result is produced! With a masters degree in marketing from a local university, you will see how her creativity & innovative approaches are remarkably unique & successful; after all, Karen's notoriety for getting contracts placed on her listings in less than 3 days isn't for nothing!"

7 Reviews (6 Five Star-1 with 1 Star)
1 review has 4 Thumbs up and 2 have 3 TU's
6 --5 Star Reviews with 14 Thumbs Up
Yeah, nothing questionable there?
