I have a question in regards to getting a 1st time home loan with additional details.

I have a question in regards to getting a home loan. I have a reasonable credit score right above 700 and good income around 70000+ and same job for 10 years, but I barely worked this past year in order to completely finish my degree. It is now November so the previous two year w2's will show plenty of income. However if I do not close on a house before next year will I then have trouble getting a loan because I only made approx. 10000 the past year. I am currently on track to make over 80000 this year. What are my options here.    Thank you very much in advance for any advice.

Visit a mortgage broker or lender and lay out the circumstances. They are the best people to give you advice.

I'm not an expert on mortgages but I've had folks with compensating circumstances get qualified for a mortgage.
